What is the difference between a Product and Labor Warranty?

When it comes to roofing, there are two primary types of warranties to consider. Labor warranties and manufacturer product warranties. You can get comprehensive coverage if you have both types of warranties. A labor warranty normally covers the contractor's work, including any installation faults, whereas a manufacturer's product warranty usually protects the materials. Manufacturer material warranties typically cover roofing material failures or faults caused by early aging or manufacturing defects.

What does the System Plus Coverage Warranty include?

This warranty will cover 100% of GAF materials and 100% of labor cost (includes tear-offs). This warranty is fully transferable for 20 years. This is a great warranty to have so that if something does happen to the materials of your roofing, it will be repaired at no cost to you.

What does the Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty include?

This warranty covers labor costs in the event there is a mistake caused by Ripcord. This is a warranty against construction defects, not normal wear and tear. The warranty doesn't include any damage done by natural disasters.
